On September 29, 2022, Nanchang Education Evaluation Monitoring and Technology Promotion Center and Jiangxi KMAX Industrial Co., Ltd. Jointly held the inauguration of Nanchang Education VR Research Center, in which the strategic cooperation was reached between the two parties in Nanchang Education Evaluation Monitoring and Technology Promotion Center.

The inauguration was attended by relevant leaders of Nanchang Municipal Education Bureau, relevant officials and teachers and researchers of the Compulsory Education Research Institute, High School Education Research Institute, Vocational Education Research Institute, IT Research Institute of Nanchang Education Evaluation Monitoring and Technology Promotion Center, and representatives of Jiangxi KMAX Industrial Co., Ltd.

At the inauguration, Ms. Fu Qinglan, Member of Nanchang Municipal Education Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Municipal Education Bureau, pointed out, “The Ministry of Education attaches great importance to the application of VR technology in the field of education. It is necessary to vigorously promote VR+education integration, innovate teaching modes, and promote the transformation of teaching and learning mode in elementary education; It is also imperative to promote the construction of VR training rooms, and solve the problems such as the high price of training equipment, shortage of teachers,  vulnerability of equipment, and potential safety accidents in the field of vocational education.

After Nanchang VR Education Research Center is established, it will work on joint construction and sharing of high-quality VR resources and cloud platforms, deepening and popularizing VR education applications, and create VR+education typical demonstration, etc. It will also mobilize outstanding teachers and researchers from Nanchang Education Evaluation Monitoring and Technology Promotion Center to establish special discipline working group to promote integration of basic education discipline resources, integrate VR technology with elementary education and teaching, and help Nanchang continue to build a smart education demonstration zone.”

Also at the inauguration, Ms. Liu Xiaolan, Co-founder and General Manager of Jiangxi KMAX Industrial Co., Ltd., said: “Over the years, KMAX has been committed to promoting the deep integration of VR technology with education and teaching, innovating VR+teaching research, and improving the level of education and teaching with scientific research. Inauguration of Nanchang Education VR Research Center

Nanchang Education VR Research Center was unveiled by Ms. Fu Qinglan, Member of Nanchang Municipal Education Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Municipal Education Bureau, and Ms. Liu Xiaolan, Co-founder and General Manager of Jiangxi KMAX Industrial Co., Ltd., marking the establishment of Nanchang Education VR Research Center.
