Forging a New Chapter: South African Delegation Visits KMAX’s Shenzhen Office, Discusses Strategic VR Vocational Education Cooperation, and Charts a New Future for Tech Talent

On November 25, 2025, Professor Halima.Khunoethe, Chairperson of the South African Provincial Capacity Coordinating Monitoring Committee (PCCMC), and Pearl Rampete, Deputy Consul General of the South African Consulate General in Hong Kong and Macao, led the delegations to visit KMAX's Shenzhen headquarters for inspection and exchange. The purpose of this visit was to engage in in-depth discussions on the application and cooperation of VR technology in the field of vocational training in South Africa.

KMAX Chairman and President Mr. Yang Huafeng, the Executive Vice President of GTA Group, and the Sales Director of KMAX's Overseas Business Department was accompaines with the delegations. The guests visited the company's product exhibition center and VR technology experience zone. The delegations personally experienced KMAX's cutting-edge technology in VR training solutions and gained a deep understanding of the latest R&D achievements and mature application cases in the field of future training equipment.


During the exchange, the Overseas Business Department introduced the VR training system independently developed by KMAX, covering VR hardware and VR vocational education training software spanning 9 categories and 26 specialties. After experiencing the system, Professor Halima.Khunoethe highly praised its high immersion and strong interactivity. She noted that it effectively overcomes the common challenges in traditional vocational training of "high cost, high difficulty, high risk; challenging to implement, observe, and replicate." By offering lower comprehensive costs and higher safety standards, it enables highly efficient practical training, provided an advanced path that can be customized and promoted for the cultivation of vocational skills talents in South Africa.

Professor Halima.Khunoethe highly agree with KMAX's technical strength and project experience. She pointed out: "South Africa is at a critical stage of industrial upgrading and the modernization of vocational and technical education. KMAX's VR solutions precisely meet our country's urgent need for the large-scale, standardized, and high-quality cultivation of technical talent." Both parties explored integrating this technology into South Africa's vocational education system and corporate training plans as soon as possible, to provide solid support for enhancing the country's talent competitiveness. Starting plans for cooperatively building demonstration smart classrooms in South Africa, prioritizing the digital upgrade of training courses and teaching content in key development areas for South Africa such as automotive, smart manufacturing, and healthcare. This aims to help South Africa build a modern and highly effective new vocational education system.

KMAX consistently places high priority on the South African market and is willing to work closely with South Africa and other Belt and Road partners, leveraging its advanced VR technology products and extensive global project implementation experience, to jointly cultivate high-quality technical talent suited for future industrial development.

This visit laid a solid foundation for cooperation between the two parties. Next, both sides will accelerate the establishment of a dedicated working group, refine the cooperation framework, and promote the implementation of demonstration projects, jointly opening a new chapter in the digital transformation of industrial training in South Africa and injecting fresh momentum into technological innovation cooperation between China and South Africa.
