KMAX was Voted as the Council Member of CASATVECA and Continuously Facilitates the High-quality Development of Vocational Education in China and Africa

In order to continuously promote the development of the China & Africa (South Africa) Technical and Vocational Education Cooperation Alliance (abbr. CASATVECA), facilitate the cooperation of vocational education of China and Africa, China and South Africa, and enhance the culture exchange between China and Africa, the 5th Annual Conference of China & Africa (South Africa) Technical and Vocational Education Cooperation Alliance and International Symposium on China & Africa High-quality Development of Vocational Education was held in Zhengzhou Electric Power College from 28 to 30 June, 2023. In the annual conference of CASATVECA, KMAX was voted as the council member. Meanwhile, Head of Overseas Business Development Yufei WANG was invited to attend the panel discussion session of the International Symposium on behalf of KMAX.
The meeting was co-hosted by Chinese and Foreign Humanities Exchange Center of Ministry of Education China, Education and Training Department of the Ministry of Higher Education in South Africa, Henan Provincial Education Department and co-organized by Zhengzhou Electric Power College, Henan Foreign and overseas Chinese Affairs Service and CASATVECA.
Deputy Director-general of Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges of Ministry of Education China Mr. Peng JIA, Director of Chinese and Foreign Humanities Exchange Center of Ministry of Education China Mr. Kewei DU, Education and Training Department of the Ministry of Higher Education in South Africa Mr. Samuel Zamokuhle Zungu, Deputy Director-general of Henan Provincial Education Department Mr, Yuhua DIAO, Deputy Director of Foreign Affairs Office of Henan Provincial People’s Government Mr. Bingbing LI and Secretary of Party Committee of Zhengzhou Electric Power College attended the meeting and gave welcome remark respectively.
The conference featured keynote speeches, panel discussions, and case sharing on various topics related to vocational education. Experts and scholars from China, South Africa, and other African countries shared their insights on vocational education policies, curriculum development, teacher training, and industry-academia collaboration.
Head of Overseas Business Development of KMAX Yufei WANG was invited to attend the panel discussion “Smart Education Empowers China & Africa High-quality Development of Vocational Education” together with Director of Center of African Educational Studies of Institute of African Studies of Zhejiang Normal University Ms. Yufang OU, Secretary-general of SPACO Mr. Xolelo Brian Phike, Human Resources Senior Official of the Ministry of Health of Zambia Mr. Mbololwa Nalumino and South African foreign student of Zheng Zhou University Lei PEI.
During the panel discussion, Miss WANG gave a brief introduction of the educational scenarios that KMAX leverages XR to empower the strategy and business development of KMAX overseas market. Next, she introduced Nudle and KMAX smart classroom in Richard Varha Technical High School in Eastern Cape, South Africa. The aim of this initiative is to promote innovation and utilization of digital technology to education in South Africa and other African countries. This project was made possible through a partnership with the Eastern Cape's Department of Education, which aimed to incorporate 4th industrial revolution technologies into the existing education system. The establishment of the first smart classroom in Eastern Cape is a significant milestone for KMAX. Moving forward, KMAX will continue to collaborate closely with its partners to encourage the use of their self-developed software and hardware for educational practices and vocational talent development.
In her speech, she shared her insights on how smart education can contribute to the high-quality development of vocational education in both China and Africa. She emphasized the importance of leveraging XR technology to enhance teaching and learning methods, improve access to educational resources, and bridge the skills gap in vocational fields. “We are committed to collaborating with colleges and universities worldwide, particularly in Africa and South Africa, to support their development plans. We will provide our products and services as needed to facilitate the growth of vocational education in these regions. Together, we can empower students with the tools they need to succeed in the ever-changing job market.”
